LARP — Owner / Host Agreement
Relationship to the Terms of Service: This Agreement is the detailed, Owner-only companion to Part C of the Terms of Service. As an Owner, you accept both the Terms of Service and this Agreement; on Owner-specific matters, this Agreement controls. Capitalized terms have the same meaning as in the ToS.

This Owner / Host Agreement (this "Agreement") is between Larp Marketplace LLC ("LARP"), a California company, and you, an Owner who lists a Car on LARP. It supplements the Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Nondiscrimination Policy, Content & Releases Policy, and Fees & Pricing Policy, all of which apply to you. Capitalized terms have the meaning in the ToS.
1. Your relationship with LARP
You are an independent business. You are not an employee, agent, partner, or joint venturer of LARP, and nothing here creates such a relationship. LARP does not own, control, inspect, insure, or operate your Car, and is not a party to the Session between you and a Creator — LARP is a non-controlling marketplace that connects you with Creators. You set your own availability and decide which bookings to accept (subject to the Nondiscrimination Policy). Session prices are set by LARP from a per-vehicle day rate maintained on LARP's servers (see §6 and the Fees & Pricing Policy); you do not set the price of a Session.
2. Eligibility to list
You represent that: you are at least 18 and can contract; you own the Car or are authorized to offer it for stationary, on-camera commercial use on LARP; offering it does not violate any lease, loan, financing, insurance, fleet, or other agreement; and you will keep your account and payout information accurate.
Before a Listing can be published, you must complete identity verification through Stripe Identity — a government-ID check with a selfie biometric match, performed by Stripe, not by LARP (see the Identity Verification & Trust Policy and the Biometric Consent Notice). Verification is not required merely to sign up or browse.
3. Your Listing — accuracy and standards
- Your Listing (make/model/year, photos, condition, tier, location policy, availability) must be accurate, current, and not misleading, and the photos must be yours to use.
- Each Car is VIN-verified: its VIN must decode to the year/make/model stated in your Listing. Changing a Car's VIN suspends publishing of that Listing until the new VIN is re-verified.
- List only Cars you can actually make available, in safe and presentable condition.
- Keep your availability calendar current; honor confirmed bookings.
4. The core Session rules (mandatory)
For every Session, you agree that: 4.1 You stay present (or send an authorized representative) for the entire Session and keep the keys and control of the Car at all times. 4.2 No one drives, moves, starts (to drive), tows, or operates the Car, and you will not permit the Creator or anyone else to do so or to take possession or control of the Car. The Car is a stationary photo/video subject only. 4.3 The Session takes place on private property you are permitted to use; you will not relocate it to public streets/parks (where permits/insurance — the Creator's responsibility — would apply; see Content & Releases). 4.4 You'll review the Creator's before-photos, tap Start Session to begin the timer, and confirm condition at close-out.
5. Insurance — your responsibility
5.1 You are responsible for your own insurance. You represent that you maintain the insurance appropriate for your business and for permitting a stationary, on-camera commercial use of the Car on private property, and that doing so does not breach your policies or financing. LARP does not provide any insurance for the Car, the Session, or the participants.
6. Pricing, fees, and payouts
6.1 How pricing works. Session prices are set by LARP from a per-vehicle day rate maintained on LARP's servers; prices cannot be set or changed from the app. The price shown to Creators is all-in — LARP's platform fee and payment processing are included in it, and any location/travel fee appears as its own line — and the minimum Session price is $180. Your earnings from a Session are determined under the Fees & Pricing Policy. 6.2 Stripe. You onboard as a Stripe connected account and must accept Stripe's applicable terms (including the Stripe Connected Account Agreement) and complete Stripe's identity/business verification (KYC) before payouts are enabled. Stripe moves the money. The Creator's whole payment — your share included — settles into LARP's Stripe account, and your share is transferred to your connected account after the Session has completed, not at the time of the charge. If your payout onboarding is not complete by then, your share stays in LARP's Stripe account until it is (see ToS §7.2). 6.3 Payout timing. Earnings settle automatically after the Session completes — there is no manual withdrawal and no payout threshold. Once settled to your Stripe connected account, Stripe pays out on a daily schedule with a 2-day delay. 6.4 Taxes. You are responsible for your taxes. You'll provide tax forms (e.g., W-9 / W-8) as required and may receive a Form 1099-K from the Payment Processor based on processed volume.
7. Content and intellectual property
You grant LARP the licenses in ToS §9.2 to display your Listing and to operate and promote the Services. Session Content is created by the Creator/production, which is responsible for any required releases, clearances, and permits (Content & Releases); tell Creators about any restrictions on using your Car's image.
8. Damage
Every booking includes a refundable security deposit that the Creator is charged together with the Session payment: 2× the Session price, with a minimum of $200 and a maximum of $2,000. The deposit is refunded automatically after the Session completes. If your Car is damaged during a Session, you may file a claim under the Damage, Holds & Disputes Policy; a claim filed before the deposit is refunded freezes the refund until the claim resolves, and a resolved claim refunds the deposit minus the agreed claim amount. LARP is a non-controlling intermediary that may help facilitate, is not an insurer or adjudicator, and is not liable for damage. Damage beyond the security deposit is a matter between you and the Creator.
9. Conduct, reviews, and standing
You'll follow the Community Guidelines and Nondiscrimination Policy. Reviews are two-sided and can be left only after a completed Session. Repeated cancellations, no-shows, late or unsafe hosting, inaccurate listings, or policy violations may reduce your standing or lead to suspension or removal. Owner cancellations follow the Cancellation & Refund Policy; an Owner cancellation always refunds the Creator in full.
10. Representations, warranties & indemnification
You represent that the information you provide is true and that you'll comply with this Agreement and applicable law. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold LARP harmless from claims arising out of your Car, your Listing, your hosting, your conduct at a Session, your insurance (or lack of it), your taxes, or your breach of this Agreement or any law — consistent with ToS §15.
11. Suspension & deactivation
LARP may suspend, limit, or deactivate your Listings or account — with or without notice — for violations of this Agreement, the Community Guidelines, or the law, or for safety, fraud, or repeated cancellations/no-shows. You may stop listing and close your account at any time; outstanding obligations and claims survive.
12. General
This Agreement incorporates and is governed by the Terms of Service, including its disclaimers, limitation of liability, dispute resolution / arbitration (§17), and governing-law (§18) provisions. If this Agreement and the ToS conflict on an Owner-specific matter, this Agreement controls.
