LARP — Safety & Trust Center
Last updated: August 18, 2026
Effective date: August 18, 2026
LARP brings people together in person — a Creator (and often a crew) meets an Owner and a high-value car for a stationary shoot. These tips help everyone stay safe and have a good session. They're suggestions and good practices, not rules or guarantees; the binding rules are in the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
How LARP is built for trust
- ID-verified on both sides. Every Owner completes identity verification through Stripe Identity (government ID + a live selfie, checked by Stripe) before they can publish a listing, and every Creator completes the same check before they can book a Session. Verified hosts get a badge. See Identity Verification & Trust. (This is identity assurance, not a background check or a guarantee about anyone.)
- Owner present, no driving. The Owner stays with the car and keeps the keys the whole time, and no one drives — the car is a stationary subject.
- Two-sided reviews. Owners and Creators rate each other after completed Sessions; repeated negative reviews can lead to suspension or removal after review by our team.
- In-app coordination. Booking, messaging, and payment stay in the app.
- Report & block. You can report any listing or user, block anyone, and we act on reports within 24 hours. See Community Guidelines.
In an emergency
If anyone is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number (911 in the US) first. Then report it to us at admin@larp.global.
For Creators
- Keep it on-platform. Book, message, and pay through LARP. If someone asks you to pay or coordinate off-platform, treat it as a red flag and report it.
- Check before you book. Review the Owner's profile, verified-host badge, ratings, and reviews.
- Share your plans. Tell a friend where you'll be and when; consider bringing your crew or a companion.
- Meet smart. Confirm the exact address (it's shared after your booking is confirmed) and arrive during your booked time. Trust your instincts; if something feels off, leave.
- Respect the car and the rules. Don't drive, move, or sit in the car to operate it; follow the Owner's instructions about touching/posing.
- Keep the set safe. Mind cables, lighting, and bystanders; bring the permits/insurance for any public-property or special-effects work (that's your/your production's responsibility — see Content & Releases).
- Never share verification codes, passwords, or payment details with anyone, including someone claiming to be from LARP.
For Owners
- You're in control. Stay with your car, keep the keys, and never let anyone drive or move it.
- Vet the request. Review the Creator's profile, ratings, and shoot description before accepting.
- Protect your privacy. Use a meeting spot you're comfortable with; you don't have to reveal more than necessary. The exact location is shared only after a booking is confirmed.
- Document the session. Consider photographing your car's condition before and after each Session, and confirm its condition at close-out.
- Carry your own insurance appropriate for hosting (see the Owner/Host Agreement).

Your privacy
How we handle your data (including ID + biometric verification and your meeting location) is in the Privacy Policy and Biometric Consent Notice. You can delete your account in the app, and request access to or deletion of your data at admin@larp.global.
