LARP — Cookie & Similar Technologies Policy
Last updated: August 20, 2026
This Policy explains how LARP uses cookies, web beacons, SDKs, local storage, and similar technologies ("Cookies") on our website and apps. It supplements the Privacy Policy.
1. What Cookies are
Cookies are small files or identifiers stored on your device that help a site or app function, remember your preferences, keep you signed in, keep things secure, and understand usage.
2. Categories of Cookies, and which ones we actually set
We set only the first two categories below. The last two rows are listed so you can see plainly that we do not set them.
| Category | Purpose | Examples | Can you turn it off? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Sign-in, security, load-balancing, core functionality | Session/auth tokens — including the sign-in flow when you use Google or Apple, our only third-party sign-in providers | No — the Services won't work without them |
| Functional | Remember preferences and settings | Language, saved filters | Yes |
| Analytics / performance | Not currently used. We do not set third-party analytics Cookies; error and crash reports are collected first-party, without third-party analytics tools | — | Not applicable (none set) |
| Advertising / targeting | Not used. LARP does not use advertising or targeting Cookies, does not work with ad networks or ad-tech partners, and embeds no advertising, social-media, or third-party tracking pixels, tags, or share/like widgets | — | Not applicable (none set) |
3. Managing your preferences
- What we set today: only the strictly-necessary and functional Cookies described above. Because we set no analytics or advertising Cookies, we do not currently provide a separate cookie-preference manager.
- In your browser/device: you can block or delete Cookies in your settings (some features, such as staying signed in, may stop working).
- UK/EU users: the Services are currently offered in the United States only. If we ever introduce Cookies that require opt-in consent under PECR/UK-GDPR (such as analytics or advertising Cookies), we will request that consent before setting them.
4. Do Not Track / preference signals
We do not sell personal information, do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and set no advertising Cookies — so there is currently no sale or sharing for a browser Do-Not-Track or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal to opt out of. If that ever changes, we will honor GPC signals as a valid opt-out and update this Policy.
5. Social sign-in & social media
- Signing in with Google or Apple: Google and Apple are the only third-party sign-in providers we offer. If you use one, the sign-in exchange relies on strictly-necessary session/authentication Cookies and tokens so we can establish and keep your session. LARP receives only the profile data the provider returns — see Privacy Policy §9.
- Our Instagram and TikTok channels: LARP maintains social media channels on Instagram and TikTok. We do not embed social feeds, share/like buttons, or social tracking pixels in our website or app, so those platforms set no Cookies through LARP. If you visit or interact with our accounts on those platforms, that happens on the platform, and the Cookies and tracking used there are governed by that platform's own cookie and privacy policies, not this one.
6. Changes
We'll post the new "Last updated" date when this Policy changes.
